This is a project on our perception of news and how newsitems eventually cluster together and fade back into our memory. The images I made are subjective compilations of pictures in the news and how I remember them. Subsequently: the Egyptian revolution / the nuclear disaster in Fukushima / the tsunami in Japan / protests in Syria / the shootings in Alphen aan de Rijn / and the death of Osama Bin Laden. My publication starts with random news pictures as they are presented in online news with a reference to the iPad. Gradually, the pictures start to jumble and turn into compilations of certain events. As time passes, those events will also mix together into a greyish mash in our memory.
The revolution in Egypt
