Habitat

Habitat is a speculative memory game on new human habitats as the worldpopulation grows. Where will we live in the future? Will our cities become denser or shall we be forced to move to as yet unpopulated areas such as the Grand Canyon, the Himalayas and the Sahara, turning ricefields into carparks and natural parks into energy fields? The human influence on nature is already tangible, but what will the humanized landscapes of the future look like? In my memory game I tried to playfully visualize the homes and energy of our future.

Dutch review text by Hendrik-Jan Grievink:

Waar gaan we wonen?
