Visual headlines / posters A1

Visual Headlines

Headlines in newspapers are always displayed in the identity of the company, in a specific typeface, position and size. There is no distinguishing between the way different headlines are treated. So what would happen if the visuals of the headlines were to be in line with its content? For this typography assignment we chose 3 headlines that had something in common and turned them into a series of typographical posters. I picked 3 headlines on the new law in The Netherlands stating that woman cannot wear a burka in public. In my posters I played with the idea of typographically concealing and revealing something.
